Does Claude actually run on the device?
Claude itself is Anthropic's cloud model, so the model runs via Anthropic's API. What ClawBox does is keep your memory, files, and context local and route only the specific request to Claude — so you get Claude's quality without your history living on a third-party server. For fully on-device inference, ClawBox also runs local open models on its NVIDIA GPU.
Can I run completely offline?
Yes — for offline use, ClawBox runs quantized local models (Llama, Mistral, etc.) on its 67 TOPS GPU with no internet. Use Claude's API only when you want frontier-model quality.
Do I need my own Anthropic API key?
You can use your Anthropic API key or a subscription. ClawBox routes your requests to Claude using your credentials — no reseller in the middle.
